The Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival is a juried event highlighting many of New England's most skilled creative people. It attracts thousands of visitors who appreciate their fine work. The event is held every September on the weekend after Labor Day. Music and food round out the festival, which is a major fundraiser for Laudholm Trust, the nonprofit that supports the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve.

The 47th annual Guild Fine Craft Show: MDI - An indoor/outdoor at the seaside venue of College of the Atlantic Campus in downtown Bar Harbor, Maine. Guild Fine Craft Shows feature exquisite fine craft designs for special occasions and everyday use handmade by the juried Guild level members of Maine Crafts Association. The Guild shows are a well-established artist marketplace welcoming the public to see, collect and learn about the highest quality craft objects made by a membership of dedicated, talented and trained craft artists. In 2024 The MDI show will welcome an additional juried selection of artists from Maine & greater New England.
